Opera Hotel Köln

The location was perfect, right behind the shopping street and is 2-3 away from the Kölner Dom by walk. You can walk everywhere easily and the staff were kind and helpful. We arrived so early in the morning (5 a.m.) and couldn't early check-in as our room was full, however, the receptionist saw us being tired and gave us a room just to rest for a few hours for free till our room is ready. This was very kind of him ( don't remember his name), and I really appreciated it. Thank you again!

The location was really good (10 minutes walking from the cathedral). It was close to a street full of shops and restaurants. We had two different bedrooms, they were in different buildings. One of the buildings was new and it had tv with internet, air conditioned. The other building is older and the room is less equipped but it was also good. Everything was clean and the personnel were nice. It has de possibility of leaving the luggage in a luggage room if you arrive before the check-in time. The bathroom was quite big and it had hair dryer.

Hotel is located in the historical center, less than 5 minutes to Dom (and Central Station). Room is big and clean. Room equipped with small fridge and safe (with key, not a keypad). So for reasonable prices it's a perfect solution if you search place where stay to explore Cologne.

Didn’t have the breakfast at the hotel. Room comfortable, disappointed there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Good location, was quite easy to miss the entrance as there was no sign outside. Good location for the shops. Shower very good considering it was over a bath as opposed to a stand alone shower. I liked that you could leave your luggage in a secure room before and after check in and out.
